| The Race damper uses a 6" inertia ring, while the Street damper uses a 5" one. Theoretically the larger the ineria ring, the better it is at controlling harmonics at higher RPM. ATI specs this as a HP rating that the dampers are approved for, Race is 1000HP, Street is 600HP. I don't think the HP ratings are relevant, either damper will perform regarless of your overall HP. Because of the larger inertia ring, the Race damper has OD pulley ratios +6% on the H2O and AC pulleys and +8% on the PS pulley. The Street damper is underdriven -12% for H2O and AC and -6% for the PS pulley Race damper has a removeable crankshaft hub, the Street damper doesn't. I assume the Street damper will weigh a bit less due to its size than the Race but I don't have one yet to confirm this.
